When a mysterious glow leaks from the back of the girls' closet, sisters Cascia and Zelie know two things immediately: 1. Delilah the cat is going to investigate. 2. Whatever's inside that tiny door isn't normal. Behind the closet wall they discover a strange cardboard ""Time Box"" covered in symbols, humming with ancient energy. Before they can stop her, Delilah leaps inside-and vanishes. A glowing prehistoric leaf floats out in her place. Determined to rescue their fearless feline, the sisters climb into the Time Box and are pulled into a breathtaking world filled with towering ferns, strange creatures, and dinosaurs unlike anything they've seen in books. But the magical Amber Crystal that powers the box has gone missing, and time itself is collapsing around them. With a baby dinosaur at their side, Cascia and Zelie must follow clues through the primeval jungle, outsmart hungry predators, and unlock the secrets of an ancient stone circle. Something-or someone-is watching from the shadows, and the Time Box isn't the only thing with a mind of its own... Can they find the Amber Crystal, save Delilah, and return home before time runs out?
