He has held faculty and division head positions at Kiev Polytechnic Institute; The National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Kiev; Purdue University College of Engineering, Indiana, USA; and the Rochester Institute of Technology, New York, USA. He serves as a full professor faculty fellow at the US Air Force Research Laboratories and Naval Warfare Centers, Newport, Rhode Island and Dahlgren, Virginia.
