Author Information

Lee H. Whittlesey, the Yellowstone National Park Historian, is the author of many books, including Yellowstone Place Names and Storytelling in Yellowstone: Horse and Buggy Tour Guides. He has appeared on Ken Burns's critically acclaimed PBS series The National Parks, among other documentaries. Lee holds a master's degree in history from Montana State University and a law degree from the University of Oklahoma. Stephen R. Thorne is a professional actor and a member of the Trinity Repertory Acting Company in Providence, Rhode Island. He has played Hamlet, Henry V, and Tom Joad, among many other roles. Stephen has narrated over fifty audiobooks.
