OverviewDeath in My Midst hearkens back to previous collections. It is full of angst and lust and hope and love and, of course, dreams. If you haven't read Death's Carriage, I'd recommend it, but it's not necessary--this is a standalone collection. It has elements of magick and romance and dreams--both literal and figurative. It also has quite a number of haiku woven throughout a copious amount of prose and rhyme. In short, this poetry collection has a little bit of everything with an overarching theme of Death and the Underworld.
