OverviewDeath is probably one of the most difficult topics for children to fully grasp. Sometimes subtle explanations may be the easiest way. You are comforting their little hearts using the words of a book rather than maybe forcing a conversation that may not go as well as planned or they're not ready to hear. The book delves into the five (5) stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. I have purposely not written an age range because there are some 4 year olds that would still understand it quite well, while some 12 year olds, amongst the sadness, may still be open to such a book. I think it could help some adults actually. Grief is hard. This book was inspired in the loss of my dogs over the years. I hope it helps you, help them, in some small way. If you could please leave a review, I would love to hear how this book might of helped your child.
