Whether auditioning for a movie role, facing an intimidating batter from the pitcher?'s mound, or finding himself heads-up at the final table in the World Series of Poker, Chad Brown is always focused on achieving his goal. In time, Brown placed poker as a higher priority than promising careers in modeling, entertainment, and professional baseball. A highly skilled cash-game player, Brown hit his stride in tournament poker in 2006, accumulating enough points to win Bluff Magazine?'s Player of the Year Award. He continued his strong play in 2007, finishing fifth in the $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha 8-or-Better event, and then second to Erik Seidel in the $5,000 World Championship No-Limit 2-7 Lowball event. Brown used his acting experience to land roles hosting several poker television shows, including The Ultimate Poker Challenge. An avid fitness and nutrition buff, he has written a series of articles for Bluff Magazine regarding the importance of a healthy lifestyle and the positive impact it can have on one's poker game.
