Deago Prime, an immortal enforcer created by the Freemasons, Rosicrucians, Knights of the Golden Circle, and Illuminati through the Covenant of Shadows, wields the Gateway Cube to open portals between parallel Earths, freeze time/space, and reposition entities like chess pieces, preserving multiversal balance at the risk of catastrophic mergers if unclosed. In the chaotic DefCrus dimension split between authoritarian Defenders (led by Phoenix) and Crusaders (led by Atlas) with orbital data centers Prime deploys six elite Deagos (transformed into Zion, AnRak, Eclipse, Nova, Echo, and Orion), whose arrival triggers violent side effects: storms, Mount Rushmore's destruction by Zion, Grand Canyon explosions, ghostly 1967 hippie apparitions, and a two-headed space dragon Prime later claims as his pet. As havoc escalates and Zion turns power-hungry, the Deagos recognize their shared origin, unite under Prime's command, and confront the greater threat when Black Horizon, four ancient reality-destroyers, arrives, annihilates global monuments, briefly allies with them, and then betrays the Defenders. In a decisive New York battle, the Deagos defeat both forces; Prime executes most Defenders (Phoenix implodes and vanishes), resurrects and reprograms them as loyal dimensional guardians, restores the world through temporal reversal, leaves Nova, Zion, and AnRak to mentor the new team while the others depart with him, and vanishes with the words, ""Life is just a fantasy. Can you live this fantasy life?""
