Overview

When Carver finds out Jessica's younger sister, Sabrina, has been kidnapped, he travels to Austin, Texas to help her out. The police department is short-staffed, and a detective hasn't even been assigned to the case. Time is of the essence. Finding someone within 48 hours of a kidnapping is a matter of life and death. Carver isn't a detective, but he has ways of getting information and tracking down people. His methods may not be legal, but they do the job just fine. He's also willing to serve as judge, jury, and executioner upon request. It doesn't take long for Carver and Jessica to realize Sabrina has been kidnapped by sex traffickers. The stakes were already high, but now they're even higher. They have to find Sabrina before she's sold or shipped out of the country. One thing is certain. The traffickers will have a reckoning if and when Carver finds them. And if he has his way, they'll wish they were dead by the time he's through with them.
