Overview

Dit is the Nederlandse versie van De Profundis, een tekst geschreven in het Frans in 1984, als een begeleidend commentaar op Les Cris, etsen van Nicole Schmitt, ook genaamd eOle. Het gedicht werd voor het eerst uitgegeven in 2021, in een Frans-Engelse versie, daarna in 2022 in een Chinees-Engelse versie. De tekst is voorgelezen door Franse, Chinese, en Amerikaanse dichters: de video's zijn te vinden op YouTube. De Nederlandse versie werd gebruikt, door Zehra Eekhout en Tamar van der Steijn, voor een film, ""kreten"" in 2025.
