Fascinated with Biblical military history since Sunday school in the 1950s and the story of David and Goliath, Barry Blackstone started in the late 1990s to look into David's military career. Barry Blackstone is pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Ellsworth, Maine and has been for nearly thirty-five years. A serious student of the Word since the 1970s, Barry loves nothing better than to research obscure biblical topics like he has in this book. This will be Blackstone's twenty-fourth book published by Resource Publications.
