Randall Chalfant is a Fellow of IABPro, which provides world-class consulting for professionally managed industry advisory boards. Chalfant's domain expertise includes: storage, mainframes, open system servers, operating systems, applications and networking solutions, and business development. Recently, he was the VP of Strategy at Nexsan, where he formed key strategic storage alliances that lead to significant market share and company growth. He is an industry speaker, and has authored a multitude of technical whitepapers and financial calculators. Prior to Nexsan, he was the CTO at Sun Microsystems and StorageTek, and held various marketing, engineering development and executive management positions at Network Systems, Data Switch, Amdahl, and Trilogy Systems. Chalfant is a visionary and lecturer, and resides in the suburbs of Denver with his wife of 39 years.
