She worked for many years in the Old Masters Department of the Städel Museum and most recently, she was responsible for its catalogue of German Paintings 1550-1725 Heidrun Lange-Krach has been a research associate at the Städel Cooperative Professorship since 2022. Her research focus is on Southern German art around 1500 and digital scholarly communication.
