English summary: The conference proceedings in this volume address the reconstruction of the Indo-European noun, or its occurrence in a variety of early languages. Alongside the still-to-be reconstructed Proto-Indo-European language itself, the phonological, morphological and syntactic studies in this book relate especially to the Indo-Iranian, Greek and Balto-Slavic, as well as to the Anatolian and Tocharian language groups that were deciphered later. Topics that are especially widely discussed include nominal accent types and the Caland system, while other key points of focus are collective nouns and agreement. There are also studies on individual cases, word formation and etymology. German description: Die in diesem Band versammelten Tagungsbeitrage betreffen die Rekonstruktion des indogermanischen Nomens bzw. dessen Auftreten in den fruhen Einzelsprachen. Die phonologischen, morphologischen und syntaktischen Untersuchungen in diesem Buch betreffen neben der zu rekonstruierenden indogermanischen Grundsprache selbst vor allem das Indoiranische, Griechische und Baltoslavische sowie die erst spater entzifferten Sprachgruppen Anatolisch und Tocharisch. Besonders viel diskutierte Themen sind die nominalen Akzenttypen und das Caland-System samt i-Stammen, devi- und v ki-Klasse, der Komparativ und die thematischen Stamme. Weitere Schwerpunkte sind das Kollektivum und die Kongruenz. Auaerdem gibt es Untersuchungen zu einzelnen Kasus, zur Wortbildung und Etymologie.

Kummel] [...] ritematizzano e revocano in dubbio alcuni assunti non marginali del cosidetto modello di Erlangen delle classi apofonico-accentuali (acrostatica, preotero- / istero- / anfi-cinetica). Nel far questo ci sembrano svolgere un ruolo benefico in seno al dibattito scientifico, considerato che non mancano i contributi in cui, al contrario, il procedimento comparativo-ricostruttivo si resolve essenzialmente nell'incasellare le forme storiche nelle classi e nei processi derivativi previsti da quel modello.
