"Over the last decade or more we have become more and more aware of the ecological damage our materialistic, energy intensive civilisation has being doing to the ecosystem, how we have been destroying the fragile balance to the web of life that has sustained humanity and the myriad of interdependent living beings for millennia. ""Global warming"" has now become a part of our collective consciousness, together with species depletion and other forms of our accelerating ecocide. Yet, while spiritual teachings tell us that the events in the outer world are a reflection of changes taking place in the inner worlds, we appear to have little awareness of how this outer darkening is reflected within. Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee was born in London in 1953. He has lectured extensively throughout the United States, Canada and Europe on Sufism, mysticism, Jungian psychology and dreamwork.
