Dark Skies

Overview

For fans of The Remember Balloons, Moon! Earth's Best Friend, and Sky Gazing comes Dark Skies, a tale about family, memory, and the magic of the stars. Laney cherishes stargazing with her Papaw but in the city, lights outshine the starry night sky. Laney and her dad take Papaw to the planetarium and install a rooftop telescope to keep his love for stargazing alight. But when Papaw's memories become as hazy as the city sky, he gives up stargazing completely. Determined to preserve their special bond, Laney crafts a heartfelt plan to help Papaw rediscover his greatest loves-his family and the stars. With colorful illustrations and an inspiring message, Dark Skies is a story about connecting to our loved ones and to nature. In partnership with One Little Earth, an environmental nonprofit connecting kids to nature.
