He provides spiritual encounters for local churches, prisons, hospitals, retreat centers, colleges and seminaries, family life conferences, civic presentations and businesses. Jim is qualified to write on depressive illness and has served in many counseling centers including service as a Psychiatric Therapist II in the Lincoln Regional Center. He earned his doctor of psychology degree from Oxford University with an internship at the Appalachian Counseling Center at King University in Bristol, Tennessee. The governor of Nebraska honored him as an admiral in the Nebraska Navy for his ministry of sharing joy to the world. Jim has served as a preacher for almost 75 years. God has used his gift asa writer to persuade the world to find wholeness and salvation. He received his Doctor of Divinity in preaching, worship, and literature at Vanderbilt University Divinity School in Nashville, Tennessee.
