She received training in Odissi dance in Kala Vikash Kendra, Cuttack from Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra, Guru Raghunath Dutta, Guru Ramani Ranjan Jena, and Dr. Menaka Thakkar. Rohini's work spans the areas of dance performance, arts administration, art education and cultural policy. She produces multimedia learning resources for home practice and reference. These resources are available online on Createspace.com, an Amazon company. She also writes papers and articles which discuss issues in dance education, arts administration and cultural policy.
