Where open-mic, poetry night meets nude, male revue. As one might imagine, hilarity will ensue. Oiled on up and ready to strut, a little bump and grind for the mind. this collection could almost be PG-13, but not under a strip-show sign!!! Here are poems that made poor life choices. They refuse to be swayed by traditional taboos and naysayers. Call them 'fusion', 'free verse rhyme', or just plain foolish. But don't misunderstand! They do take themselves seriously. (That doesn't mean you should.) These lighthearted acts take off airs; There are no ""verdant hills"" wrapped around angsty prose. (They'd make terrible emo bands.) You won't need to bring a box of tissues. (Actually, we'd prefer you didn't.) All you'll need is a reason to smile, and after revealing what they're working with, you may even point and laugh! With 58 poems over seven acts, each longing to upstage the last. They came out to entertain! ...it goes pear-shaped, fast. Be honest. Which story would you rather pass on? One that went off without a hitch, or one that crashed and burned, leaving a crater behind? You don't experience a collection like this; You, hopefully, survive it.
