His background is in Architectural/Engineering with a bachelor/master degree from the University of Padua. He additionally completed a master in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Trabucco is involved in teaching and research activities related to tall buildings, including the LCA analysis of tall buildings, service core design and issues pertaining the renovation/refurbishment of tall buildings. Antony Wood has been Executive Director of the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat since 2006, responsible for the day-to-day running of the Council and steering in conjunction with the Board of Trustees, of which he is an ex-officio member. Professor Wood is also a Research Professor in the College of Architecture at IIT, at the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, and a visiting professor of tall buildings at Tongji University Shanghai. A UK architect by training, his field of specialty is the design, and the sustainable design, of tall buildings. Prior to joining the Council and IIT, Antony was an Associate Professor/Lecturer in Architecture at the University of Nottingham in the UK from 2001-2006, where he ran the third and fifth year programs respectively. Antony worked as an architect in practice in Hong Kong, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta and the UK, between 1991-2001. Some of the projects he has been involved in these countries include the 11 No. mixed office/residential tower project of SV City, Bangkok (completed 1995), the 4 No. 44-story condominia project of Kuningan Persada, Jakarta (1997) and the prestigious Kuala Lumpur Central International Railway Terminal, Malaysia (completed 2001). He is associate editor of the CTBUH Journal and is an editorial board member of several journals.
