OverviewDam It! Negotiating at the River's Edge is a simple fable about two beavers in conflict about building a dam. Forced by the town to only construct one dam, the beavers have to work toward a mutually beneficial solution, or both lose the right to build. Bucky, the older wiser beaver, and Hardy the younger stronger beaver move through a series of testy encounters. By exploring and listening to each other's needs, and also involving their spouses, they finally arrive at an optimal agreement.
