He has done M.A., M. Phil., and Ph. D in Political Science from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. He has been working on the issues related to Dalit Politics, Dalit Leadership, Dalit Human Rights issues in particular, and other human rights issues in general on India in particular and South Asia as well for more than two decades by now.
