Overview

Daily editing helps students master and retain grade-level skills in language mechanics and expression through focused., daily practice. A weekly daily writing activity allows students to apply the skills they have been practicing throughout the week. Daily Paragraph Editing-contains lesson for 40 weeks, with a separate lesson each day (Monday-Thursday). Each lesson consist of individual reproducible paragraphs that contain errors in the following skills: Capitalization Language Usage Punctuation Spelling and More Also an Answer Key Students correct the errors in each daily portion of the composition by marking directly on the page. A reproducible sheet of Proofreading Marks help familiarize students with the standard for for marking corrections on written text. Students also can benefit when using the Error Total indicating what errors to watch for when correcting the errors. This unit cover a wide range of expository and narrative writing forms from across the curriculum.
