Overview

New Mexico Artist Bobby J. Jones photographed dahlias at his house in 2021. Now he is creating a photobook based upon those photos, Dahlias. Jones decided to grow dahlias in flower pots at his house in Albuquerque after a friend introduced this flower to Bobby that year. Jones found inspiration in the color of these flowers. The beauty of each flower in each photograph enhances that inspiration of spirituality seen in nature. Jones recalls the famous quote by Katherine Hepburn about calla lilies. Dahlias, they are such a strange flower. Dahlias, I just love them. Rahly, I do!
