Christophe Desgouttes was born in 1966 in Annecy (Haute-Savoie). In 1989 he created D a g o, a half man and half bird character, after whom the animation workshop Dagoprod was named in 2013. The goal of Dagoprod is to stage not only D a g o' world, but also the one of other authors. The films produced by Dagoprod are later converted into comic strips to allow a wider distribution of these worlds.
