Born in Vietnam near the end of the war, and arriving in Canada as a refugee at five years of age, the author now lives and works along side her husband Grant as Family Physicians in Calmar, Alberta. Aside from her passion for Medicine, she enjoys writing, reading poetry, traveling the world, and just hanging out in the garden with her husband and their rambunctious young children.
