Czlowiek W Pulapce Swojej Natury

Overview

Wazna ksiazka! /Zajrzyj do srodka ( look inside ). Mozna przeczytac Spis Tresci oraz Wstep. / Niniejsze Wydanie II jest poszerzone i poglebione wzgledem Wydania I. / Niestety na tym portalu nie ma polskich znakow. Dlatego zamieszczam krotka notke w jezyku angielskim. / One of the most important sections of the book deals with the nature of mind. Slawomir Mrozek noted in his Diary: 'The highest achievement of the mind is to know its own nature, operation and limitations.' As I think, these problems are really extremely important and I undertake them. / In the consciousness, so useful from somewhere else, there is some defect making a trap for the soul and mind and generating lot of evil. In christian tradition this trap is called as 'original sin'. In one of a later chapters of this book I construct a general model of this trap and discuss its nature. / I deepen and expand cosmic religion of Albert Einstein. Einstein expressed the matter as follows: 'Religion of future will be a cosmic religion. It should exceed the concept of a personal God and avoid dogma and theology. Containing in itself both what is natural and what is spiritual; it should be based on a sense of religiosity which has grown from the experience of all natural and spiritual things as a meaningful unity.' / The most practical thing (and the deepest knowledge) is a good knowledge of God as actualizing no-being. Tropes leading to God-no being I have contained on many pages of this book.

Author Information

Niestety na tym portalu nie ma polskich znakow. Dlatego podaje krotka biografie w jezyku angielskim. Formally taking I am a physicist, philosopher and computer scientist (Novell CNE, computer networks). I had graduated physics with honours, and also wrote and defended my doctoral thesis in philosophy. Initially, I dealt with experimental physics (Nuclear Quadruple Resonance), and also classical epistemology. For a time, I taught philosophy at the Faculty of Physics of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, Poland, as well as at the Faculty of Architecture of Poznan University of Technology. Until 2013 I worked at the Department of Physics of UAM as a senior lecturer, where among other things I taught the theory of knowledge and history of physics. I have published, among others, the books: Mind in Cognitive Relations with Nature, Human Cognitive Faculties and World of Physics, About the Nature of Modern Physics. Why We Can Understand Nature? (position currently unavailable). I dealt also with translations from English onto Polish. Among others I have translated the following books: Peter K. McInerney, Introduction to Philosophy, William Dunham, Mathematical Universe, A.R. Lacey, Dictionary of philosophy, Ted Honderich (Ed.), Encyclopaedia of Philosophy, Oxford, 2 volumes; parts concerning philosophy of physics.
