Overview12 long years in Cambodia teaching English. During that time I became enchanted with a bygone and humble mode of transportation locally known as the cyclo (see-klo). It is a pedal driven, three-wheeled taxi where the driver is perched and drives from behind and the passenger sits in front on a sun shaded chair. With the recent economic growth and burgeoning middle class in modern day Cambodia I felt that the cyclo's days were numbered. Citizens were more able to afford their own motorcycles and cars and became less dependent upon pay-as-you-go transportation methods. So I wanted to document what I thought were the waning days of the cyclo. I did this through photographs and interviews with the drivers, which I captured in this book.
