Clarke's statement has become the truth for an alien species. What happens when humanity has disappeared, but our advanced technology remains? When an alien race lands on earth and begins to interact with that technology, they assume it's Magik. They evolve elaborate rituals for Heating food or bathwater, for Calling their livestock, and even for manipulating Weather.
