Currently, he serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Botany at Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (A Central University), Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, India, since December 2019. Dr. Ahirwar has over 12 years of extensive experience in ethnobotany, both as a researcher and faculty member, and he has authored more than 64 research papers, many of which have been published in prestigious Elsevier journals such as the Journal of Ethnopharmacology, South African Journal of Botany, and Advances in Traditional Medicine.
