Keith Maderer is a 30 plus year veteran of the financial services industry. He writes books that educate, entertain and enhance lives. He completed the Certified Financial Planner program (CFP) in 1990 and has been a Fee-Only Registered Investment Adviser operating in the Buffalo/Niagara Falls region - since 1989. He works with individuals, business owners, and trusts to help them clarify their goals, solve their problems and make simpler and better financial decisions He is an entertaining and humorous speaker that enjoys captivating audiences with stories, anecdotes, and messages that inspire and motivate others to achieve. He is an active volunteer with District 65 Toastmasters International where he has served as President of Clarence and Larkin Leaders Toastmasters. He received Toastmaster's District 65 Div. A - Club President of the Year in 2014 and Area Governor of the Year for 2015. He achieved their highest designation of excellence in public speaking and leadership - the Distinguished Toastmaster Award (DTM) in 2015. He has been involved with many youth sports programs. He was a director and past president of the Orchard Park little league baseball, co-founder and president of the Orchard Park Youth Basketball Association, and a team coach for many other youth sports and programs. He has been married for over 30 years (yes... to the same woman... not sure how she does it?) and has 5 adult children and 1 grandchild. He enjoys reading, hiking, biking, tennis, golf, disk-golf, photography and playing with his grandchildren. His favorite color is purple, favorite foods are buffalo chicken wings and roast beef on weck (not great for the heart, but delicious) and loves watching waterfalls.
