Sheila K. Muehling, owner and President of SKM Systems Ltd., is a 29-year veteran of the interior design and custom workroom industry. As an industry leader in the Chicago and Phoenix area, she created various unique systems and techniques that have helped designers to design, accurately estimate projects and successfully close sales. Sheila is the author of the book Custom Calculations for Draperies and Accessories and the creator of Custom Calculations Pro (a drapery calculation software). Sheila is past President of the Arizona Window Covering and Design Association (WCAA) and past President of the Chicago Drapery Workroom Association. She is former owner of DWI Systems Ltd. (commercial interior design), Design Dimensions (residential interior design), TOMEKA Custom Iron, Drapery Works and Specialty Upholstered Products Sheila is a seminar speaker/instructor for trade-related companies throughout the United States. She offers seminars that give designers and workrooms the tools they need to successfully design and specify custom products. Sheila currently lives in Arizona where she is a practicing residential interior designer.
