OverviewMaster the fire, lest it command you... Born to the House of Aries, thirteen-year-old orphan Abree should be able to weave fire-but her Fyre elemental refuses to be tamed. No matter how hard she trains, it only grows wilder...and more dangerous. When Abree is falsely accused of theft, her zodiac magic unleashes chaos that even the Keeper can't contain. Fearing capture by the Shadow Warriors, Abree flees into the wilderness-dragging along her five-year-old foster brother, Vekor. But the forest is no place for abandoned children. As Abree struggles to keep her and Vekor alive, a life-or-death error forces a strange new gift to the surface. Stumbling into unlikely allies, Abree starts to wonder whether she's finally found her place amongst other zodiac misfits. But her powers are unpredictable-and one uncontrolled spark could ignite a deadly blaze.
