He is author of The international paper trade and, with Clive Capps, is author of the recently published Current practice in environmental reporting the pulp and paper industry and series editor for the Woodhead Current practice in environmental reporting series as a whole. Clive Capps has over 30 years' experience in the paper and chemicals industries. Since 1990 he has been general manager of CJC Marketing Associates, a consulting and market research company, which specialises in the analysis and review of environmental issues in the paper industry worldwide. He has acted as a consultant to CEPI (The confederation of European Paper Industries) in Brussels, and was coordinator of the handbook, The impact of environmental legislation. He made a major contribution on environmental issues to the 1997 FT Management Report, Managing change in the paper industry.
