Author Information

Andy Lazris, MD, a primary care geriatric physician with twenty-five years of experience, is passionate about reforming US health care policy to provide the most beneficial medical care to elderly Americans. Graduating with honors in history from Brown University, he went on to attend medical school at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and serve his residency at the University of Virginia. Married with three children, Dr. Lazris has previously published two novels. Curing Medicare is his first nonfiction work. His second book, Interpreting Health Risks and Benefits: A Practical Guide for Doctors and Patients will be published later this year.
