He received his M.Sc. (January, 2003), M.Phil. (July, 2013) and PhD (March, 2018) degrees in Chemistry from Institute of Chemistry, University of the Punjab, Lahore-Pakistan. He has more than 20 years of professional, research and teaching experience. He has published 100 research/review articles as author/co-author in national and international peer reviewed journals, resulted in 1502 citations, impact factor = 177.752, h-index = 20 and i10-index = 41. He has reviewed 456 research articles for 67 international journals and handled 20 articles as an editor. He has also supervised/co-supervised 9 MS students in this field so far. Moreover, 16 of his abstracts published in proceedings of national and international conferences. Dr Syed Salman Shafqat is serving as an assistant professor of chemistry at the University of Education, Lahore. He accomplished his doctorate degree on prestigious from Malaysia.
