CJ is a mom, a nursing student, a writer, and a professional chaos coordinator (primarily thanks to her kids and cat, Squish, who is essentially a tiny, furry toddler). Her two daughters and angel son are her biggest inspirations, pushing her to be a better person every day-though they also ensure she never knows what ""free time"" feels like. Her journey into emergency medicine began as an EMT on a critical care ambulance, where she also worked for a couple of fire departments from 2018 to 2023. Then she took a scenic route through the safety world, working for some big-name companies before realizing her destiny was calling-probably over the ambulance radio.
