There is enough overlap in the chapters to drive home some key ideas without conveying a sense of unnecessary repetition. [The book] offers guidance for clinicians who wish to cultivate the principle of dynamic sizing, in which clinicians who are working with culturally based understandings in clinical contexts need to make use of cultural knowledge in a way that honors the individual and avoids rigid applications of overgeneralizations. --PsycCRITIQUES Author InformationHarvette Grey, PhD, is the former Executive Director of the Cultural Center and Founding Director of the Women's Center at DePaul University.
