OverviewThis book is the outcome of a research into cultural awareness that has spanned over a considerable period of time. (By Aisha Goga)ReviewsAuthor InformationSheikh Ismail is a prominent Muslim scholar from the U.K. He has studied and gained Islamic and Secular qualifi cations in Pakistan and the U.K. He has worked as an Imam, teacher and lecturer and has travelled to many Muslim and Arab countries. He has served the community for a great number of years as a leading member of the Association of Muslim Scholars. He has also served on the executive boards and committees of various community and educational organisations. He has worked very effectively to improve the philosophy of multi-culturalism through cultural awareness. After his retirement from full time lectureship he continues to work as a part time OFSTED Inspector and as an examiner. He is a visiting lecturer at different Muslim and Christian theological colleges, and offers his services by teaching Tafseer, Hadith and other subjects. He is currently the visiting Khateeb at The Birmingham Central Mosque and the Secretary General for the United Mosque Council in S.Yorkshire. I have worked with him as a lecturer for ten years.
