"There is a wonderful teaching in Luke 10:25-28 (NKJV), which is often overlooked when reading the story Jesus related about the Good Samaritan. A lawyer asks Jesus a profound question, ""Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?"" Jesus responds by asking the lawyer two questions in return, ""What is written in the Law? What is your reading of it?"" The lawyer quotes Deuteronomy 6:5 and Leviticus 19:18 by saying, ""You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, d with all your soul, with all your strength, with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself."" The question the lawyer asked is probably the most important question you could ever ask and, regardless of what you believe, you need the real answer to this important question.
