Author Information

Steven Rogers is an emerging Australian children's book author, specialising in rhyming picture books. He developed a love of rhyming stories while reading to his young daughter. Steven was inspired to write his debut picture book (Cuddle Kitty: A Tail of Friendship) as a way to help his daughter play more gently with the family cats. Alison Mutton is an illustrator from Perth, Western Australia who has been illustrating books for kids big and small since 2008 and has contributed to over 140 books in educational, traditional and indie publishing. She works from a tiny studio in her back yard, supervised by her dog Myrna, and when she's not illustrating she enjoys playing the piano, watching old movies, needle felting and dancing the Lindy Hop.
