CTRL + YOURSELF. This is not a conventional computer manual. Conventional manuals are very good at telling you what to do and rather less good at making you remember it - they hand you the shortcut without the situation in which you would ever actually need it. CTRL + Yourself takes a different approach. Each chapter teaches a set of real, practical keyboard shortcuts through a story: fictional characters, invented scenarios, and at least one vampire with an unfortunate relationship to cloud storage. The shortcuts are entirely real. The difference they make is not invented. And the situations they appear in are memorable enough that, by the time you close each chapter, you stand a fighting chance of actually recalling them the next time you sit down at a keyboard.
