Author Information

THOMAS C. W. MAK is Chair Professor in the Department of Chemistry at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research activities are in the area of chemical crystallography, particularly the synthesis and structural characterization of clathrate inclusion compounds, organic salt hydrates, and hydrogen--bonded molecular adducts. GONG--DU ZHOU is Professor of Chemistry at Peking University. He is the author of more than ten popular Chinese texts on X--ray crystallography, chemical bonding, and structural chemistry, one of which has been translated into English and entitled Fundamentals of Structural Chemistry.
