Overview

Professor Smith secured a PhD from the City University Business School, London and has held professorial chairs at universities in both UK (Sheffield, Leicester) and Australia (Adelaide, Perth). He is currently Professor of Accounting at Edith Cowan University, Western Australia. His worldwide reputation resides in the analysis and interpretation of corporate narratives and their links to financial performance. This expertise in 'words', 'meanings' and 'cryptic messages' fostered an interest in complex crosswords which resulted in a first compilation titled Professor's Puzzles published in 2011. The success of this volume has motivated this second compilation.
