Overview

Dixon Belltower, veteran of Crushed (the ""fight club"" of the wine-tasting world), is indebted to a Belgian gangster and wanted by the French police. He's also in love (again) and plans on proposing to his girlfriend. However, before sipping such bliss, Paris goes up in flames and mini-Nazis start clamoring for his head. Cellared away on his father's Oregon vineyard, Dixon discovers the bucolic vines infested with his estranged mother and spite-filled friends. There's also the millions owed the IRS and the alluring government agent. To save the vineyard (and a budding romance), Dixon returns to the Malbec-stained trenches to face his nemesis, the tree-time reigning world champion. If he loses, well, that Belgian gangster has plans for him--playing wiggly-wiggly with The Amsterdam Boys.
