It could also be performed as a trombone quartet. After a brass introduction, two verses of the hymn are introduced in a straight-forward manner in the concert key of Eb Major following the hymn as it would appear in a United Methodist Hymnal (#327). The third and fourth verses contain flourishes from the brass. A modulating interlude introduces the fourth and final verse in the concert key of F Major, followed with a short, rousing ending.
