Cross Trail Middle School

Overview

After a messy evening at a trendy nightclub far outside his comfort zone, James just wants to put his focus back on his work. But when his preteen niece calls to tell him she and her friends are being attacked by a spirit they summoned at their middle school, he might just begin to regret that wish. From there, James and his team end up dealing with a malevolent spirit that's been haunting the school auditorium for decades. Not to mention negligent parents, flying musical instruments, and perhaps scariest of all, the full force of preteen fury. Meanwhile, James finds himself at odds with his team as he takes on whatever work he needs to do to keep them all safe. As tasks pile up from the Foundation, he's not going to let it burn them out and leave them vulnerable to whatever decides to attack next. He's captain and they are his responsibility. And if he can just get everyone to understand that, they'll be fine. But first they need to deal with this ghost because the show must go on, no matter how haunted the stage. Cross Trail Middle School is Book 14 in the North County Paranormal Unit series!

Author Information

Amanda McCormack is a writer, performer, and lifelong Massachusetts resident. In a past life, she was a librarian in both public libraries and private research institutions. This led to a passion for research and writing which, combined with her love of New England's history and culture, formed the foundation for Enfield Arts. She loves getting lost on the back roads of Massachusetts, chocolate chip cookies, and a good slow-burn romance story. She hates pears and driving in Boston. You can usually find her at home with a cup of coffee in hand and at least three pens stuck in her hair for safekeeping.
