Author Information

Luis Dominguez is Associate Professor of Contemporary History at the University of Vigo, where he holds a Jean Monnet Chair Ad Personam. He is also Coordinator of the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence and Director of a Master's programme in Community Policies and Territorial Cooperation. He has published several studies on cross-border cooperation. Iva Pires is Associate Professor in the Social Sciences Faculty at the University of Lisbon. She is currently carrying out research at the Centre of Geographical Studies (Lisbon), which is the largest institution in Portugal dedicated to geographical research. Her main interests are social and economic geography, regional planning, services and territory and Iberian economic relations.
