Mike Laus has diplomas in biology, industrial and mechanical engineering, as well as basic knowledge of organic and inorganic chemistry. He has studied astronomy for over thirty years while working in various industries from agriculture to hospitality. Laus is now retired. Croatian Barrel Theory: Origin of the Solar System and Theory of First Cell on Earth is Laus's first book. When he's not studying astronomy and writing, he enjoys to watch hockey games and other sports and racing horses. He lives in South Woodslee, Ontario, Canada with his wife on a one- hundred - acre farm.
