Her research interests include authorship, academic integrity, and generative AI in higher education, on which she contributes to UCL guidance and policy. She is co-founder and co-convenor of the public IOE Academic Writing Seminar Series on which this edited volume is based. David Mallows is Director of the UCL Institute of Education Academic Writing Centre. He has over 35 years’ experience in adult education. He has directed national and transnational research projects in adult literacy, language, and numeracy, and has published widely on issues related to adult education, adult literacy, and migrant language education.
