Stephanie Ann Houghton, PhD, is an Associate Professor in Intercultural Communication at Saga University, Japan. She is author of Intercultural Dialogue in Practice: Managing Value Judgment through Foreign Language Education, and has published numerous other books on intercultural communication.Yumiko Furumura holds a PhD in Social and Cultural Studies from Kyushu University, Japan. Her research interests lie in the development of intercultural communicative competence through English language education.Maria Lebedko, Doctor of Philology, is a Professor of Far Eastern Federal University, Vladivostok, Russia. Her research interests primarily lie in intercultural communication and cognitive linguistics.Song Li, PhD, is a Professor of English at Harbin Institute of Technology, China. Her research interests focus on the interaction between language, culture and (inter)cultural identity in global, multicultural contexts.
